What Love Is I

Love is an everyday word. We say it a lot, many times as a part of the common statement; ‘I love you’, which we do not really mean sometimes. We use the word, but do we know what it is?

I always say that love makes the world go round, literally. And it is a fact. Love is the building block of the universe. It is a fundamental that is so subtle that it is beyond the physics but is responsible for it.

The world is always in motion. The earth is always going round the sun. The sun itself is revolving around a central orbit in the galaxy. The galaxy itself is also revolving. The world is always in motion.

The basic cause of this motion is gravity. It is a force of attraction between two bodies. Let us take the earth for example. It seems as if it wants to get away from the sun, being pulled by a force. Whatever exerts the force on the earth wants to draw the planet to itself. It ‘loves’ the earth. The sun at the same time exerts a force on the earth. It draws the earth to itself. It ‘loves’ the earth. The forces are pulling in the opposite directions and they balance, cancelling out and keeps the earth in orbit making it go around almost indefinitely around the sun. in other words, the force of gravity is the force of love, and it makes the world go around. The same force applies at the planetary level and even at the galactic level. It is love that initiates gravity, the essence behind the physics!
