KNOCKING ON HEAVEN'S DOOR
I saw myself knocking on heaven’s door last night. I was a lonely traveler looking for a place to lay my weary head. My head was heavy and my eyes were growing dim. Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light and I said to myself this would be my stop for the night.
From the doorway I could see right inside. It was so beautiful like the paradise that we preach. I saw the gardens and the tables that were set for two, a dove cooing in the branch above. The weather was fair, seemed to have been so for all times, a cool breeze and a bright sky, and winged servants waiting to attend to every want.
I knocked on the door but they wouldn’t let me in. they told me I could not enter alone. I turned and left, but my heart was still there. I wanted so much to get in so I came back with a friend and they said it wouldn’t work.
“This is you heaven, but you cannot come in like this. Your paradise is only accessible with the one you call your own. I am just a doorman but love is the key. You must love enough to be one with. Love is the answer, love is the way. Bring the one you love and all things are yours. You either come with her or kindly stay without.
